Decorators’ Show House 2017

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a couple mentions of the Decorators’ Show House.  It’s open from April 23-May 14 at the Columbus Museum of Art, and each room features art from the museum’s collection.  Tickets are $25, and all proceeds support the museum’s art and education programs.  An inspiring event with a great cause!  Today I’m sharing a look into the show house, room by room! (Apologies for the photo quality.  I’m used to shooting with natural light.)

The Portal by David M. Berg, Ltd.

Aptly named, “The Portal”, this entrance transports you from the outside into the sanctuary of the show house.  The gorgeous bookshelves wrap around the room and are beautifully arranged by color.

Contemporary Cocktail Cabaret by Nth Degree

There’s no running out of booze or contemporary lounge feels in this cocktail cabaret.

The Bar by Interiorworks by Sally McDonald

This room is my personal favorite!  The wallpaper mural is unlike anything I’ve seen, and I love the mixing of antique and new pieces.  It’s moody and glamorous and has the most stylish bar setup.  I wouldn’t mind sipping my evening cocktails here!

Bold and Beautiful by Angela Bonfante Kitchen Designs

This kitchen is inspired by art, and the different colors and textures bring a dramatic flare to the inviting space.

Bold Luxury Living by Danny Russo

This room brings the drama, with Sherwin-William’s Caviar painted walls and eye-catching art and objects.

Scandinavian Inspired Bedroom by CRI Interiors

This cozy Scandinavian inspired bedroom is the perfect cocktail of boho, chic, and modern.

Mid-Century Modern Nursery by Lauren King Design

This mid-century modern nursery is nice and neutral with fun geometric abstracts at play throughout the entire room.

French Boudoir by Cirqua Studio

Next, we jet set to a French boudoir, where we can see Paris through all of the windows. I love the clover chair in the corner.

A “London Chic” Private Retreat by Grand Design Group

This is another favorite of mine, and not just because it’s “London Chic” (London is one of my favorite cities, and I lived there 2 summers).  I love how refined and tailored the bed and sitting area are… and the gallery wall!

Employees Only by The Jones Studio

This Employees Only NYC inspired retreat is a modern take on a gentleman’s lounge.

Study in Geology by Cirqua Studio

This gentleman’s study houses a cool collection of objects and decor, inspired by geology.

Modernized Versailles by Nth Degree

Live a luxurious Parisian lifestyle complete with a Monet, if only for a moment, in this modern take on Versailles.

I hope you enjoyed the tour!  I’ll be revisiting French style and inspiration next month, when we go to Paris and Provence!  Subscribe and follow along on Instagram to share in the fun.
