Spring is in full swing, the sun is shining, and Mother’s Day is just around the corner! Celebrate the special women in your life with fresh flowers, delicious food, and lots of love. Whether she’s your mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt, or friend, she’ll appreciate being showered in love and appreciation for all that she does. Here’s a look at my citrus themed Mother’s Day bruncheon and some simple tips to make hosting easier. You shouldn’t be working too hard, after all! The Tablescape In spring, I love pastels with a few pops, so I went with a citrus color palette, accented by a Tiffany blue check table runner. I made floral arrangements with pink, coral, and yellow flowers to tie to the grapefruit, oranges, and lemons used as decor and garnishes. At each place setting, I served freshly sliced grapefruit. I love citrus fruit on the stem, but sometimes it can be hard to find. You can get the look by garnishing the fruit with fresh bay leaves.
