As you may have seen on Instagram, I went on a girls trip last week to New York City. We had an amazing time seeing shows, shopping, and, of course, indulging in some delicious meals! We were total tourists, but loved every minute of it. Our first stop was Black Tap, known for their craft burgers, beer, and “crazy shakes”. We all got different burgers, and the best one was The Greg Norman, made with wagyu beef, house buttermilk-dill, blue cheese, and arugula. The highlight of the meal though was our shakes, The Cake Shake and Cookie ‘N Cream Supreme, which had a slice of confetti cake and an ice cream sandwich on top! The next day, we had afternoon tea for lunch at the iconic Palm Court at The Plaza hotel. Of all the teas I’ve had here and abroad, this is always one of my favorites. The Truffled Chicken Salad sandwich and Rooibos des Vahinés tea (vanilla almond) are the best. For dinner that evening, we went back to an old fave, Dos Caminos.
