Thank you to everyone who followed the Marsh Run Community Center Project with Value City Furniture and Homeport. I really appreciate all of your support! The reveal is always one of my favorite parts of a project, and this is one that I will never forget.
The reveal celebration began with remarks from Homeport President & CEO Bruce Luecke, Value City Furniture EVP & CMO Alejandro Alvarez, and Columbus City Council Member Shayla Favor.
After a ribbon cutting, residents and guests were welcomed inside to see the transformation.
BEFORE & AFTER
What had been an outdated meeting space with folding tables and chairs was transformed into a warm, inviting second home for residents. They were greeted with all new paint, floors, furniture, rugs, window treatments, and decor. In the large open space, we created a living area, dining/meeting area, and reading nook. And in the classrooms, we created study spaces, a reading rug area, and computer stations.
